This Faculty was established with the departments of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments. It has added the departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department of Applied Science and Humanities (1996) and has five engineering departments— Applied Sciences    & Humanities, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical Engineering—and a University Polytechnic. These departments also conduct many projects sponsored various agencies. The faculty offers regular courses and continuing programmes.

  • Jamia Millia Islamia also offers Hostels facilities to its students. There are 6 boys and 3 girls hostels in Jamia. Each hostel has a reading room-cum library subscribing all leading newspapers and magazines for its students. Debates, quizzes, extension lectures on current topics and inter hostel games are organized for hostel residents on regular basis.   • Jamia Millia Islamia promotes co-curricular activities among the students through the subject associations of the departments. The Subject Association of all the departments regularly organizes academic activities such as students' seminars, extension lectures, debating competitions etc. The associations also endeavor to associate themselves with the community development works as it may be undertaken by a concerned Dept. or the University as such.
