NEET PG 2020 Syllabus: An acronym for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate, NEET PG is a national level entrance exam for students who want to pursue MS, MD, MDS and Post Graduate diploma course after their MBBS and BDS degrees. To help candidates understand NEET PG syllabus for the exam to be held in 2020, here is the complete breakdown of the same. NEET PG 2020 Exam Pattern for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses 

For those who want to be a part of any medical college throughout the country and want to pursue a specialization of their choice in the field of medicine, surgery or a diploma course for that matter; here is NEET PG exam pattern. 

  • In NEET PG 2020 exam pattern, there will be 300 multiple-choice questions.
  • Questions will be based on MBBS curriculum prescribed and followed by medical institutions from all over India.
  • The exam will be conducted in an online mode only and in two shifts.
  • Questions will be asked in English language only.
  • The duration of NEET PG exam will be 3hr and 30 minutes.
  • No marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.

NEET PG 2020 Exam Pattern: MDS

Candidates who possess Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree and want to pursue the master’s degree in any specialization of their choice in any of the top ranking dental colleges have a different syllabus to prepare. The exam pattern for MDS course is given hereunder.

  • Like the NEET PG exam for MD, MS and PG diploma courses, NEET PG MDS exam will also be held in online (CBT) mode.
  • The exam consists of 240 MCQ type questions.
  • Each question carries one mark.
  • Candidates have to complete the exam in 3 hours and 30 minutes.
  • There is no negative marking in the exam.
