Christ University was formerly Christ College (Autonomous) affiliated to Bangalore University. Established in July 1969, Christ College became the most preferred educational institution in the city of Bangalore within the first three decades.  It has the rare distinction to be the first institution in Karnataka to be accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) UGC for quality education. Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Union Government of India, vide Notification No. F. 9-34/2007-U.3(A), has declared it a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University

  • Institute has well equipped lab with all modern facilities.

Library

  • Christ University library has well trained staff and an automated library system to enrich the user community with a wide range of academic resources such as books, periodicals, online periodicals, databases, back volumes, CDs/DVDs, project reports, audio / video cassettes, and question bank.

Hostel

  • Christ University currently offers accommodation for female students within the university campus in "Jonas Hall" and for a few selected male students outside its campus in two hostels.

Placement

The placement department strives to place the students in various organizations depending on their areas of interest and also provides guidance, training and facilitation to prepare the students for the challenges ahead in career. The vision of the placement department is to achieve 100% placements.
