Delhi University (DU) has announced its admission schedule for the academic year 2014-2015.
According to information on the official website of DU, the registration process for admission will begin on June 2, 2014 and it will end on June 16, 2014.

The University has also announced many changes in the admission process, which may be simpler and more student friendly this year.
Under the new admission process, all colleges have been stopped from setting additional eligibility criteria for programmes that they offer. This means that colleges will have to provide admission to students if they meet the criteria set centrally.
Till last year, DU aspirants had to run from one DU college to another in North campus & south campus in order to find out if they were eligible for a particular programme, despite meeting the cut-off.
Also, for students with vocational subjects, there is a big relief this year. Candidates will be allowed to include marks of vocational subjects while calculating the 'best of four' percentage. However, 10% of the maximum marks will be deducted from that student’s marks.
