NEET 2020 Cut-Off

NEET 2020 Cut-Off – The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is a national level examination for aspirants who wish to seek a career in medicine. Those who take the NEET exam will be eligible to apply for MBBS and BDS courses at various medical and dental colleges across the nation. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the conducting body for NEET every year.

NEET 2020 Cut-Off is the minimum score required by a candidate to seek admission in any of the undergraduate courses offered by the medical colleges in India. The NEET cut-off is calculated basis various factors such as the total number of applicants, total number of seats, higher marks obtained and the difficulty level of the NEET 2020 exam.

In order to qualify for the NEET exam and secure a place in the NEET 2020 Cut-Off list, candidates will have to obtain the minimum qualifying percentile. Candidates belonging to the General category will have to acquire a minimum of 50 percentile marks in the exam. Those belonging to the reserved categories like Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will have to obtain a minimum of 40 percentile marks. Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped (PH) category will have to acquire a minimum of 45 percentile marks in NEET 2020.

NEET 2020 Cut-Off: Qualifying Percentile

To qualify for the NEET Exam, candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying percentile to make it to the NEET 2020 Cut-Off list. Here is a table showing the minimum percentile required.

NEET 2020 Cut-Off for 15% All India Quota Seats

To get a brief idea of how NEET 2020 Cut-Off will be like, we have the following table showing NEET cut-off list 2020. The NEET cut-off list for MBBS and BDS courses will be available soon after the NEET 2020 exam is over, which will be conducted tentatively in the month of May 2020.

NEET 2020 Cut-Off and Counselling

The NEET Counselling will be conducted soon after the NEET result and NEET 2020 cut-off is declared.  The NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be conducted in an online mode by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The detailed counselling process will be published on the MCC website soon after the declaration of the result.

The NEET counselling for students other than the 15% All India Quota seats will be conducted by the State Government and the authorities of the medical and dental colleges of India. The seats will be allotted on the basis of the All India Rank secured by the candidate in the NEET exam.
