Weapons engineering is the design, development, testing and lifecycle management of military weapons and systems. It describe the knowledge of several traditional engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, electro-optics, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, and chemical engineering. You should have passed BE / B Tech in Mechanical / Production / Chemical / Material and Metallurgy / Electrical or equivalent from any recognised university with 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA in the qualifying examination and valid UGC-CSIR NET certificate/GATE Score. Admission will be based on interview.

But as you have mentioned that you are pursuing Commerce, it is advisable that you look for career options in the same field. Career opportunities in Commerce are immense in terms of becoming a CA, CS, Cost and Works Accountant, Management, Insurance, Marketing, Stock Broking, Banking or Financial Management professional, Economist, etc.

Several commerce colleges and institutes in India are imparting courses in the field of commerce at the undergraduate (B.Com) and postgraduate (M.Com) levels. After completing course in the field of commerce, you can join any private or government organization as a specialist in any of the streams of commerce, such as economics, accountancy or work as management executive, accounts executive, junior accountant or pursue a career in auditing or banking. Studying commerce is a very good option these days as it opens up multiple avenues for higher studies and career opportunities.
