Yes, you can appear for IFS exam after completing your B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Indian Forest Service Exam every year for recruiting officers for the Indian Forest Service at various centres across the country.

Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent.
