Hi Tinku, the first thing that you should do is get back seriously in to your Mechanical. You have already invested so much in terms of time, energy and money, that it is a shame to let it go waste. You have not specified what ineterstes you, so we are not in a position to exactly guide you. However, there could be multiple reasons why you have lost interest and let's explore what you can do.

• You can take lateral admission to some other field of engineering that interests you (in your second year).
• In case you want to get out of engineering, join BCA or BBA.
• If you don't like the field altogether, then somehow finish your B. Tech and then pursue MBA. This combination has great value in the market.
