A cyber lawyers has to crack down cyber crimes like hacking, credit card frauds, protecting digital signatures to safeguard business transactions or encryption codes or electronic records etc. He has to deal with the cases of Intellectual Property laws or Copyrights, Software patents, Net Banking etc.

Intellectual property rights are legal rights, which result from intellectual activity in the industrial, scientific, literary and artistic fields. The courses in IPR have been designed not only for law student but also the legal professional who wants to venture into this exciting field.

Minimum qualification for admission to the P.G.Diploma Course in cyber law and Intellectual property law is a graduate degree from a recognised University. 5% weightage will be given to the law graduates for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma Courses.
