Hi Harika, The courses vary depending on what you want to do in the field of fashion designing. Fashion designing is a huge field and you can become an Apparel Designer, Accessory Designer, Fashion Coordinator or Merchandiser. A minimum qualification of Class XII is required to enrol into a graduate programme. Different institutes have different percentage criteria for students to be able to sit for the entrance exam at the graduation level. Most of the entrance tests focus on mathematical aptitude, reasoning ability, proficiency in English, reading comprehension and general awareness. If you have already completed your graduation and want to opt for fashion management at the post graduation level like at NIFT, will have to take the General Ability Test (GAT) and Managerial Ability Test (MAT) for the written entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates from the written entrance examination are required to undergo a psychometric test, group discussion and an interview.
