What is Event Management?

Event management is a course that enables one to understand the ins and outs of meticulous planning, creatively organising and perfectly executing a show, conference, concert, festival, convention, product and brand launch or any type of event. At Undergraduate Level

Those who want to pursue a career in event management can opt for various diploma courses, three years BBA in Event management & PR or even an integrated MBA (BBA+MBA) – a full-time, five years degree course – after 10+2. Many colleges and universities within India offer certificate, diploma and degree level courses to enable candidates to understand the intricacies of event management at different levels.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates belonging to any stream (arts, science, and commerce) can opt for diploma and degree courses in event management after the higher secondary exam (10+2).

Examination

After completing BBA or BA Honours in Event Management, candidates can take admission in various diploma and degree courses. Eligibility Criteria

For opting event management as a career option, candidates should have 50% marks in higher secondary and graduation.
