St.Xavier's College of Arts, Science & Commerce institute was established in the year 1963 by the Archdiocese of Goa. The college is affiliated to Goa University and accredited by NAAC with A grade. Ever since its inception the college has deliverd quality education leading to synthesis of the head, heart and spirit. St.Xavier's College offers Bachelor degree programme in the field of Arts, Commerce and Science. St. Xavier's College, Mapusa-Goa is the only college in Goa which offers exclusive degree course B.A in Journalism with specialized 18 papers affiliated to Goa University. St.Xavier's College of Arts, Science & Commerce also offers master level degree programmmes in various domains. The programme is an amalgamation of theoretical and practical knowledge that enhance student’s thinking and creative ability. The college’s infrastructure is well furnished with all modern facilities. The vision & mission of the college is to offer balanced all-round education with the objective of formation of young men and women, who will be disciplined citizens of the nation and who will be efficient enough to display a high intellectual caliber as well with social commitment and emotional balance.
