St. Joseph’s College was established in the year 1882 by the French missionaries with an aim to provide education to Catholic Community. The college was granted the ‘autonomous’ status by UGC and was also recognized as a ‘College of Excellence’. The college offers undergraduate, post graduate and PhD courses in the field of science, commerce and arts. The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade.
