School of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Jaipur National University fulfils this aim by producing confident and committed professionals for the tourism and hotel industry.   • The School of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories for food production, food and beverage service,

Library

  • Library is open for twelve hours a day, having a seating capacity for more than 500 students at a time. There are more than lakh reference/text-books, and journals of national and international standards. Nearly 600 Journals are also available on Internet. Internet and photocopying facilities are available to the students. The library subscribes to both national and regional newspapers and magazines for the benefit of students and general readers.

Hostel

  • In a capital city like Jaipur, an outstation student finds it difficult to live outside the campus. Nearly 1450 students live in hostels, and at the beginning of 2010-11, the number of resident students is likely to go up to 2000. The hostels are well-equipped with an air-cooling system. Mess facilities are excellent. Along with the hostels, facilities of cafeteria, a stationery shop and ATM are also available. Some AC rooms have also been constructed for students who desire such facilities.

Placement

Jaipur National University has an independent placement cell to facilitate campus placements and jobs for the students. The placement cell also imparts training in soft-skills, personality development, written and, information oral skills, and about overall employment trends in both public and corporate sectors. Over the years, several well-known companies of the corporate world and other agencies have visited the campus for recruitment of our professionals. Many of our students have gone abroad for higher studies.
