The School of Education (SOE) was established as College of Education. This is the oldest and the biggest Teaching Department of the University. In 1987, the State Government has recognized this School of Education as center of Excellence in Education. This status was conferred on the basis of its contribution in the field of Education. This institution has earned reputation as one of the leading institutions in selected areas of research and innovation.
