  • All classroom are well furnished with modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • The science departments are equipped with advanced laboratory facilities. They stock the latest state of the art equipment that is used by the students to conduct experiments in their respective areas.

Library

  • The college library is situated in a separate building with a stack room and a reading room. The library has more than fifty thousand books including rare books and a few periodicals. Part of the library’s collection is in the postgraduate libraries attached to postgraduate departments and research centres. The library is connected to the internet, and has moderate digital library facilities. It also has reprographic facilities. The career guidance centre is attached to the library.

Hostel

  • The college has a hostel for girl students with separate section for postgraduate students. The hostel has a mess room and basic recreational facilities. Around 100 students get accommodation in the hostel. A teacher in the college functions as the warden.

ExtraCurricular

  • The National Cadet Corps was started in the college in 1956, the year it started in other colleges of the state.The college has a few clubs that coordinate the students’ extracurricular activities. These clubs function under the stewardship of teachers. They organize various programmes in their specific areas with the active involvement of students in Cultural Club, Drama Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Film Club, Literary Club, Nature Club, Planning Forum, Quiz Club.
