Classroom

  • The college has sufficient number of airy and classrooms. Usually, classrooms are attached to a particular department and can seat more than 60 students.

Laboratory

  • All the departments in Science Faculty, except Mathematics Department which does not require a laboratory, have their laboratories. As the practical in Science subjects are inseparable part of students' learning, extra care has been taken to equip the laboratories with the latest equipment and material. The laboratories have been designed keeping in mind the strength of students in the particular course. In the Arts Faculty, the Department of Geography has its laboratory.

Library

  • The college library is the repository of knowledge in the form of books and journals. Library is located in a separate block and has about 30,000 catalogued books, well displayed on the shelves. The library having books ranging from Philosophy to Physics caters to the needs of students and academic staff alike. Two reading rooms exist in the library, one for the teachers and the other for the students. Standard newspapers, magazines and research journals are available in the reading room.

ExtraCurricular

  • Extra curricular activities include Games and Sports, National Cadet Core (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS). While all the students can participate in Games and Sports, seats available in NCC and NSS are limited. College organise cultural and other programmes on a regular basis in the direction of a seven-member Cultural Programme Committee, which has six teachers drawn from different departments and one student representative.
