Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology (RAGAAT) – Thiruvananthapuram is a government undertaking academy provides excellent training in various licensing programmes. Firstly the academy was commenced in 1959 with a name of kerala Flying club under the Indian Companies Act 1956. But in year 1980 the name was changed into Kerala Aviation Training Centre. Finally in the year 2006 academy gets its existing name Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology under the title Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955. The objective of the RAGAAT is to impart instructions and provide practical training in the art of flying and gliding, and science of aeronautics, and concerned engineering, and all other matters directly or indirectly connected therewith.
