N. S. S. Training College, Changanacherry, established in 1954, is one of the pioneering teacher education institution affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University and it functions under the Deputy Directorate of Collegiate Education, Kottayam. The well orchestrated and dedicated efforts of students, the teaching and administrative staff has been instrumental in the institution securing B+ + grade from the NAAC in 2005.
