1.PLACEMENTS OVERVIEW:
 
The placement process of the graduating batch of PGDM & PGPX was successfully completed at  MYRA School of Business . The process had allowed students to choose the sector and  functions of their choice for the final placements.
The PGDM-2015,2016 & PGPX-2015,2016 batches together comprised a total of 120 students. The placement drive at MYRA School of Business, for the class graduating May 2016, was started in September 2015. The experiences range of the batch was between 0 years to 12 years.
 
2.PLACEMENT PROCESS:
 
The placement process was conducted in different stages. A few firms visited MYRA and interviewed students with prior work experience as well as fresh graduates. A few students were interviewed at the respective offices of the firms.
The process includes firms from diverse sectors such as Analytics, banking & Financial Services, management consulting, Information Technology, Digital marketing, Telecommunication & Business Development.
 
3.SECTORAL OVERVIEW:
 
Companies from multiple sectors across different geographies hired candidates for a wide range of functions. The banking and financial services sectors witnessed participation from HDFC bank, Mavericsystem,Progen,RBL Bank, Axis Bank, Northern trust bank. For marketing & sales roles  companies likes MTR foods pvt ltd, I Virtual CFO, Surewaves, Reliance Jio,  Practo Technologies, Unilog Corp, NxtGen Datacenter and Cloud Technologies Private Ltd,YPay Cash, Fab India, Atul Ltd, Axis Capstone, Call Health, DTDC, Mahindra SSG, Mahyco, Make my Trip, Ninestars Information Technologies Ltd, CRM IT &Emart Solutions participated.
 
Technology sector firms such as Oracle, Pramati Technologies,ITChamps Software Pvt. Ltd,Mphasis, Sonata Softwares,TCS, Infosys, Hilti, Wipro and Thoughtfocus participated. In the Health Care Sector Company’s such as Abbot Health Care, SkanRay, Cerner Corporation, and Indegene participated. Insurance sector witnessed participation of DHLF Primerica. Biotechnology firm such as Biocon, Consulting companies such Tecnova&Talisma Corporation, AnalyticsCompany Such As Magic 9&karvy Analytics, Start up’s such as Mgaadi, Cityon.net, Winmax Advisory& Akosha.com amongst others that participated in the placement process.
 
4.TOP RECRUITERS:
 
Companies such as Amazon, Abbott Healthcare, Bharti Axa, Café Coffee Day, Biocon, HDFC, Infosys, Mphasis, Nielsen, Oracle, Practo, Reliance Jio, TCS, UB group and others come to the campus to recruit
 
5.ENTREPRENEURSHIP:
 
MYRA School of Business has not not only encouraged students to take up entrepreneurship but also has a curriculum designed for candidates with a passion for entrepreneurship. 4 students opted out of placements to start their own ventures. One of them has successfully launched his online gorssery store Minute kart.http://minutekart.com/. Other student has started e-commerce business. One of them is into renewable energy and is part of Hinduja’s group. Another guy has started his venture at US.
