The Mangalam College of Education was established by Mangalam foundation, a trust constituted for the social service in June 1995 to run B.Ed course and in December 2006 to run M.Ed. course on self financing basis. Mangalam College of Education is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, Recognized by National Council of Teacher Education and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
