College Facility

Classroom

  • Two tutorial rooms with a capacity of 50 students each have been designed keeping in mind the requirements of a smaller class. These are specifically meant to increase student faculty interaction, and aid help during maths and problem solving exercises. Again, both these tutorial rooms are air conditioned, so that the students can concentrate on their studies in a relaxed atmosphere.

Laboratory

  • The institute has the mandatory four laboratories of Mechanical lab, Electrical lab, Physics lab and Chemistry lab. These are housed in large 2000 sq. feet rooms so that there is ample space for experiments and movement area. The new labs are equipped with the latest equipments, machines and materials for performing the experiments.

Library

  • The double story library is situated in the separate block under the computer center, and has an ample space of 5300 sq. feet. The library is fully automated with Libyans and houses about 15000 volumes of books - all the books are bar-coded. The library subscribes to about 100 National/International journals in print form, 30 in the electronic form and a number of magazines and newspapers. A rich collection of CDs and DVDs are also available. The library also has a digital library section. This

Hostel

  • The boys hostel has been conceived as a necessary extension to the coursework. It has been found that besides the advantage of group working, sports, and extracurricular activities, hostelers tend to perform better in academics since they do not have to waste time traveling to the institute. The girls hostel is located in campus. The two stored building can accommodate 100 girls and there is a live in lady faculty and warden on the ground floor.

Placement

A Student Training and Placement cell, STPC Cell, has been constituted with the student representative from various branches of Engineering. It aims at making student as integral part of planning, formatting and execucing the day-to-day activities of Training and Placement. This goes a long way in giving them a sense of responsibiligy and sense of partnership in taking the Institute to higher levels of excellence. The exposure thus gained through various process involved, builds confidence and promotes leadership quality amongst the students. Activity of T & P cell initiates  from  the  day  one,  the  student  makes  entry.  Initially  exploring the  talents  and  nurturing accordingly  are  our  top  priorities. We  don,t  leave  any  ways   left  in devloping  our  students  as  per  today,s  need.
