Institute of Business Management, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University was started in 1991 with the mission to pursue their commitment to international excellence as one of India's leading business schools, with a particular commitment to diversity in the national composition of our staff and student community. Over the years, the institute has established an identity of its own and has grown manifold while providing the corporate world with dynamic managers. The Institute offers various post graduate and doctoral programs as well as under graduate programs covering the entire gamut of activities ranging from training programs to complex industrial planning, techno-economical feasibility studies, market research and organizational development assignments.

College Facility

Classroom

  • A separate lecture hall complex has been constructed in the University campus. This Lecture hall complex comprises lecture hall which provides a facility of 72 lectures in a day. The lecture hall complex is equipped with all modern technique required for effective lecture delivering.

Laboratory

  • The Department has has state of the art computer center. The center is well equipped with computing resources and caters to the academic needs of the University. The computer center provides hands on experience to the users and always keeps pace with the advancement of technology. The faculty and students in the university

Library

  • Central library is available.

Hostel

  • The University has three well-furnished girls’ hostels with a total capacity of 500 inmates, a boys hostel with the capacity of 400 inmates. All the hostels have mess facilities at very moderate rates, 24 hour power supply, common hall, TV room, reading rooms, telephone, recreational and sports facilities with a tight security system. The students are allowed to use their own computer in the rooms.

Placement

The University has an active placement cell that provide the job placement facility to its students, not only to the students of university campus but to the students of all affiliated colleges of CSJM University. The cell prepares the students to do well in the interviews and will also work on enhancement of student’s communications skills, management skills, and administrative skills, behavioral skills with help of resource experts from within and outside the university. Candidates are provided practical inputs and simulations that facilitates an actual understanding about the dynamics of business environment.
