School of Translation Studies and Training is affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University. The priority areas of this school are:  translation theory, history of translation, translation: sociology and culture, translation of literary and non-literary texts, translation between genre, translation in media, machine translation and lexicography/ terminology and corpus development.
