The Hindustan Aviation Academy is affiliated  to  Bangalore University and approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India.The College offering Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course (AME) and B.tech in Aerospace Engineering. The Academy conducts 3 years Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course (AME), which is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. It has an annual intake of 120 students. The course is organized in six semesters and during the final semester students are sent for practical training to reputed airlines. On completion of six semesters and after clearing three DGCA examinations students are awarded the Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (BAMEL) which qualify them for employment in Civil Airlines.
