The Institute is promoted by media professionals with nearly four decades of experience in print media and a decade-long experience in electronic media.  Mass communication has become the most imperative apparatus for all countries for sharing their knowledge as well as knowing about others. The news we see daily on our TV screens is Filtered through the ideological spectacles of the electronic and print media agencies and governments in USA, Europe and others belonging to the same elite club. HIMCOM prepares train journalists, advertisers and PR professionals, TV anchors, news readers and radio jockeys etc for the journalism and mass communication field. Institute imparts superlative education & high -tech practical training to all aspirants desiring to work in the challenging, glamorous and highly-rewarding area of journalism and mass communication. Apart from this institute excellent amenities, which include shooting floor, studio and ultra¬modern computer laboratory, digital cameras, printing machine, and other equipment required in a media set-up. HIMCOM is affiliated to Himalayan Univeristy. The objective of the Institute is to impart best possible education through highly qualified and experienced core and guest faculty.

Classroom

  • Institute has trendy and air conditioned 5 to 6 rooms, which are well equipped with modern facilities, such as audio systems, Overhead Projects. The seating are designed to provide students with complete comfort for the intense hours of classrooms teaching and interaction.

  • All the laboratories of the Institute are well equipped with modern facilities. The laboratory of the HIMCOM assists learners and researcher in their programmes. The labs of the institute are well kit out with apparatus like Studio—Chroma, Computer Lab, Editing Lab.
