Govt. College of Teacher Education, Thiruvananthapuram institution originally affiliated to Madras University was later transferred to Travancore University in 1937 and approved by IQAC. The college vision is to equip the institution to assume the status of a ‘Centre of Excellence in Education’ – which may serve as a mother institution in the region addressing educational requirements , issues, innovations, extension and consultancy.
