Government Polytechnic College is established on 1980. The college offers civil Engineering and Computer hardware maintenance course started in 1985 and 1990 respectively the college offers part time courses in mechanical, civil and electronics for people employed in industries.

  • All the classrooms of the college/ institute/ department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • The computer centre is equipped with a Server. Each desktop is connected to servers through structured cabling. Entire B.Sc. [CS] and M.Sc.[CS] computer practical classes are held at main computer Lab one and Two. The centre also organizes workshop on many new innovative fields of computer science, development and holds training sessions for various users to get them acquainted with latest technology in IT field.

  • Central Library is available.

Hostel

  • A men’s hostel constructed under the World Bank assisted projects scheme is located in the campus. It accommodates 110 students. Staff quarters are also provided to the staff in the campus.
