Francis Xavier Engineering College is affilaited to Anna University. The Francis Xavier Engineering College aims at imparting quality education for all round development of its students in to technologists and scientists and humanists of high caliber, imbibe in them the national ethos and moral and social values that the country stood for and provide the many facets of a truly fulfilling learning experience in a highly conducive atmosphere. It shall provide its teachers a socially enjoyable, intellectually exciting and professionally rewarding experience, which in turn will pay dividends in terms of the academic achievements and fulfillment of the objects of the institutions. The College runs five post graduate degree programmes and five under graduate degree programmes in science, engineering, technology and management. All the programmes are run under affiliation to Anna University Tirunelveli, Anna University Chennai and the College has the approval of the State Government and the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
