Department of Studies in Mass Communication, karnatak University Dharwad is approved by NAAC. The department provides Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism, Master of Science in Electronic Media, Master of Philosophy in Mass Communication and Journalism and Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication and Journalism courses. The mission of the department is to impart industry-oriented training keeping in view the current challenges and opportunities in the field of mass communication- print and electronic media along with emphasis on internet based information and entertainment services.
