Department of psychology studies was started under the School of Social Science in Sikkim University in 2009-2010 sessions. The aim department is to teach and understand human behavior with the process of social change in various domain like social, economic, cultural, political and human developments. Department provide Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in the field of Psychology. The course aims at deeper level of understanding, critical thinking, higher ethical standards and cultural sensitivity in the context of diverse ethos of Indian Social Problems.
