Department of Physics, School of Physical Sciences offers a four-semester M.Sc. programme(of two years duration). In the first and second semesters of the M.Sc. programme, students have to take laboratory courses in Electronics, Computer Science, Optics, Spectroscopy and Nuclear Physics. In the third and fourth semester, students can opt for one of the two specializations (i) Astrophysics and (ii) Condensed Matter Physics, with laboratory classes.
