  • All the classrooms of department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • Several new equipments were added to the department due to the continuous effort made by the faculty members at collective as well as individual level. Internet connectivity has been made available to the department in the recent past. Department has a functional computer laboratory with 20 Pentium IV computers, a Server and other peripherals.

Library

  • The department has a good library with more than 300 advanced level books and a few journals. Journals available in the library. Moreover, several online journals are also available in the Department which can be accessed through internet in the Computer laboratory of the department.

Hostel

  • The department provide separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.

ExtraCurricular

  • The Department organized the following seminars/symposia/ workshops during the past five years- National Workshop on Catalysis, March 2002, National Symposium on Current Trends in Chemical Research, February 2004, 34th National Seminar on Crystallography, January 2005, 50th Annual Technical Session of Assam Science Society and National Conference on Current Trends of Research in Science and Technology, January 2005.
