Chalapathi Institute of Engineering & Technology is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.It offers four-year B.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. These courses are started right from the beginning of the college i.e. from 2007. Recently in the year 2009, B.Tech Course in Civil Engineering also started.From the Academic Year 2012-13 onwards B.Tech course in Mechanical Engineering, an additional intake in B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering were introduced.

Laboratory

  • College has advanced computing and programming laboratories. Round the clock internet facilities, well stocked library, Language lab with latest equipment are provided to the students to develop their soft skills.

Library

  • The college library is so spacious well stocked with varieties of titles and huge volumes of books along with National and International Journals and encyclopedias besides almost all the important Magazines and News Papers. It is equipped with a digital library and boasts a collection of C.Ds related to various subjects.

Hostel

  • Hostels for boys and girls are run by the college without compromising on the standards in providing right environment for the students to pursue their studies. In the mess, priority is given to hygiene while preparing and serving food to the students. A senior warden with considerable experience takes care of the welfare and discipline of the students.

ExtraCurricular

  • Chalapathi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lam celebrated Two days duration YAVANIKA-2011 youth based program was started on 4th march 2001 in our college. In this program Guntur range I.G. of police Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta has inaugurated the program along with chief-guest, the chairman of chalapathi group of educational institutions Mr. Y.V. Anjaneyulu, the director of chalapathi engineering college Prof. K.srinivas, Principal Dr.P.Suresh Babu and other teaching and non-teaching faculty,

Placement

The final and pre-final year students are imparted soft skills training along with the instruction on university syllabus with the objective of improving the student's potential for employability. The students have been doing well at the campus / off-campus interviews conducted by MNCs.
