Apollo Medvarsity was found in the year 2000. It was the first medical e-learning venture was established in India to provide complementary medical education using information technology. Medvarsity complements the existing medical education infrastructure by providing a dynamic network of various medical colleges across the country. It enables students, faculty and practitioners to participate in the virtual classroom, where they can interact with the global peer community and have access to knowledge, resources and techniques cutting across geographical barriers. The vision & mission of the institute is to provide physicians and health care providers with exemplary knowledge and skills to improve delivery of care and quality of patient management & also to deliver Information Technology based quality education to Health Care Providers (HCP) at any distance and to facilitate cutting edge research in delivery of medical education.
