Ambedkar University, Delhi was established by the govt. of the city Territory Delhi through an Act of legislative assembly in 2007.AUD is a public University. And it had been notified in July 2008. University offers post graduate programme, under graduate programme, MPhil Programmes and Doctor of Philosophy Programmes in numerous degree courses. AUD provides quality education with trained and experienced faculty members. The University functions from 2 campuses, one at Dwarka and other is other at Kashmere Gate. At Dwarka AUD currently occupy one and a half floors of the Integrated Institute of Technology building. Most of the colleges have shifted to Kashmere Gate where AUD contains a 3-acre sprawling green field. Each the campuses boast of fine infrastructure in terms of well-stocked libraries, reading rooms, on-line journals, Wi-Fi facilities and computer labs. The vision & mission of the university is to foster equity and social justice with excellence, Associate in Nursingd to pioneer an institutional culture of non-hierarchical functioning, cooperation and creativeness. The University powerfully believes that no data becomes socially productive unless it spreads across society, transcending barriers of caste, creed and class. Only then will teaching and learning become liberating undertakings, tributary to the promotion of equality, social justice and excellence.

Classroom

  • Class rooms of the institution are well furnished and equipped with modern gazettes which make teaching easier and student’s friendly. Sufficient classrooms are available for the students. Electronics and audio visual devices are also available to make the lecture easy and to support the conduct of academic programmes in a comfortable manner. Library

  • AUD has a modern library with specialized collection of more than 16000 books, 130 national and international print journals, magazines and 18 leading online publisher’s journal database (more than 13500 e-journals) in the area of humanities and social science. Hostel

  • AUD has hostel facilities for boys and girls at its Dwarka premises. There might also be hostel facilities offered for girls at the Kashmere Gate campus. Students can only apply for hostel accommodation once they have secured admission. The application form and book for hostel accommodation are going to be offered at the University Offices and on the AUD web site at the time of admission.

ExtraCurricular

  • AUD has also established a series of cultural societies to galvanise the intellectual and extracurricular life of students in the campus.
