Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bangalore organized a walkathon on 22nd of November, 2015. It saw an enthusiastic group of over 300 people walking through Electronic City at 8 in the morning to support the cause of the mentally challenged. XSEED, the social service initiative of XIME took the lead in executing this event. XSEED plans to support the mentally challenged for the next few years. The walkathon was flagged off by Prof J Philip, President XIME and Former Director IIM B.

The money that XSEED collected through sponsors and ticket selling was given to Swanthana, an NGO taking care of mentally challenged girls.  Mr. Jacob Chako, the chief developer and volunteer of Swanthana, accepted the Rs.1.5 lakh cheque.
