NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

National Institute of Fashion and Technology, Mumbai conducts a national level entrance examination for admitting aspirants into its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of fashion and technology. The NIFT 2020 examination is slated to be conducted on February 12, 2020. Candidates have to meet the required basic eligibility criteria to appear for the exam.

NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor Programmes- Design

  1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board (or)
  2. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (or)
  3. Any public school/board/university examination in India (or)
  4. 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board Technical Education.

NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor Programme- Technology

  1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Physics (PCM) (or)
  2. General Certificate Education (GCE)  examination (or)
  3. Any public school/board/university examination in India (or)
  4. A pass grade in the senior secondary school examination conducted by National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or)
  5. 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board Technical Education.

NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Masters Programmes- Design

  1. Candidates should have completed bachelor's degree from a recognized university or college (or)
  2. Diploma in UG Design from NIFT/NID (or)
  3. Undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT/NID.

NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Masters Programme- Management

  1. Candidates should have completed bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute (or)
  2. Undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years from NIFT/NID.

NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Masters Programme- Technology

  1. Candidates should have completed bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university or institute (or)
  2. B.F.Tech from NIFT.
