David Van Zandt, President of The New School – Parsons School of Design, New York visited the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI)- Parsons Mumbai campus here in Mumbai to inaugurate the ISDI Academic Campus and formalize the association between the two design institutions.

The inauguration was graced by the Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C. Vidyasagar Rao and the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, Sanjay Deshmukh.

Also present were Radha Kapoor, Founder & Executive Director, ISDI, herself a Parsons School of Design alumni as well as Dr. Indu Shahani, Chair of Academic Council, Siddharth Shahani, Executive Director and Professor Mookesh Patel, Dean, ISDI  - Parsons Mumbai.

The coming together of two unique design education institutions, a global leader and new entrant ISDI, is providing a platform for creative idealization and design thinking, never experienced in India.

The New School – Parsons School of  Design, ranked number one for design, supports ISDI by creating a unique design education delivery system, ISDI  benefits from Parsons’ faculty, on-going training, a global curriculum, global relationships, student and faculty exchanges all meeting international academic quality assurance processes.
