IMS Unison Dehradun gave a warm and sumptuous welcome to its Post Graduate Freshers on August 23, 2015. The function started with putting welcome tilak on the students’ forehead. Grand arrangements were made to welcome the freshers. A vibrant atmosphere was created that left everyone astonished.

The juniors were given dress code by their seniors, girls dressed in red/royal blue long kurta and palazzo pants, coordinated perfectly with hair accessories in stylish hairdos and boys in black/maroon Pathani Suits teamed with juttis, lighted up the university campus in their vibrant attires. During the event, Dr. M.P. Jain, Chancellor, IMS Unison University, guided the students and showered his blessings and wished them good luck. Dr. D.K. Bandyopadhyay, Vice Chancellor, IMS Unison University, also filled the students with enthusiasm with his effective and valued thoughts and speech. Dr. Reena Singh extended a vote of thanks towards all those who were involved in making the event a memorable one.

The event marked its success as the event included plethora of performances like duet guitar play, solo song, enthusiastic dance performance by seniors and wondrous dance performance by juniors. After the lunch, the centre of attraction became the live band performance by the renowned band ‘Nischay’. The freshers were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Fresher, Mr. Handsome & Ms. Beautiful and Mr. & Ms. Spark. Mr. Fresher was Ashish, Ms. Fresher- Astha, Mr. Handsome- Sanjog, Ms. Beautiful-Shailja, Mr. Spark-Sunil and Ms. Spark-Archita.
