The Indian Institute of Management, Jammu (IIM Jammu) is the newest IIM established in 2020. The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow), one of the coveted business schools in India is mentoring IIM Jammu. IIM Lucknow has also mentored three other IIMs, namely IIM Rohtak, IIM Kashipur and IIM Sirmaur. The first batch of the IIMJ will begin in August 2020.

IIM Jammu is going to offer Post Graduate Programme (PGP) for 2020-18 batch.

Like all other IIMs, IIM Jammu also has its own eligibility criteria and selection procedure. The selection is based on multiple parameters namely, academic qualification, scores obtained by the candidate in the CAT examination. There will be no GD/PI for admission to IIM Jammu this year.
Merit list will be prepared as per the guidelines stated in the admission policy document for those candidates who have successfully met the criterion.

IIM Jammu Selection Process and Eligibility Criteria 2020:

Stage 1: Generation of merit list for PGP programme, meeting the (Government of India) norms on reservation

Stage 1a: The following cut-offs shown in Table 1 will be used for selecting the eligible candidates.

Table 1: Minimum CAT 2015 percentile

VRC= Verbal and Reading Comprehension; DI=Data Interpretation; LR=Logical Reasoning; QA=Quantitative Ability

Stage 1b: Merit list will be generated using the weights mentioned in Table 2, for PGP programme.

Stage 2: Generation of final admission offer list to PGP programme

Grand Total (B) = Shortlist Total (A) * 2

The Grand Total (B) will be used to rank the candidates according to their merit.

Any dispute concerning Admissions for Batch 2020-18 would be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Courts within the territorial jurisdiction of the city of Lucknow only.
