A workshop on Graphic Designing using Adobe Photoshop at Jamia Millia University is being organised on November 1, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The fee for the workshop is INR 100/- and one can make payment while he comes to attend the workshop. But he/she should first register for the workshop.

Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems for Windows and OS X. Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll. Since then, it has become the de facto industry standard in raster graphics editing, such that the word "Photoshop" has become a verb as in "to Photoshop an image," "photoshopping," and "Photoshop contest," etc.

A graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography, or motion graphics to create a piece of design. A graphic designer creates the graphics primarily for published, printed or electronic media, such as brochures (sometimes) and advertising. They are also sometimes responsible for typesetting, illustration, user interfaces, web design, or take a teaching position. A core responsibility of the designer's job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable.
