About Osmania University

The seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Nawab Osman Ali Khan founded Osmania University in 1918. It is India’s seventh oldest university and the first one in Hyderabad. Osmania University is a public state university and one of the largest university systems in the subcontinent. The university has more than three lakh students in its affiliated colleges and the campus. Osmania University is accredited with an A grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). How to Get Admission in These Engineering Institutions

If you are willing to get admission in one of the engineering colleges under Osmania University, then you must have passed 10+2 in PCM subjects. You also need to appear in a statewide entrance exam called EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test). Admission in B.E./B-Tech courses is done based on your performance in this exam. To get admission in postgraduate engineering programmes, your GATE scores will be considered.
