It is pouring hard in Mumbai. A great weather a great day to go on a long drive to enjoy the every bit of such a superb climate. But if such long drive leads to the knowledge filled experience then nothing can be great than this, especially for the management students.

Well the students of the Dr V N Bedekar Institute of Management Studies, Thane were given an opportunity to be an audience to a business chat show of Marathi news channel Zee 24Taas. The show was hosted by one of the very famous, renowned builders of Thane, Mr Suresh Haware. The show is called as “The Suresh Haware Business show, Udyog Tumcha Paisa Dusaryacha.”

The students of BRIMS got an opportunity to be an audience to two of its episodes of different subjects viz, IT (Information Technology) and Entertainment.

The show was basically all about the business, the entrepreneurship and the challenges which the successful people have faced in their journey towards success. The successful businessmen came here as a guest and shared their life experience to the audience. It was definitely a very motivating and inspiring show for all the business aspirants and especially for the MBA students.

Students got to interact with the two giants of IT industry in Mr Vinay Marathe, who has made more than 50,000 websites and still going on and helping many small medium businesses to grow bigger. And other giant was Mr Sachin Teke, who is a young entrepreneur and the founder of the mobile application called “M Indicator”. Mumbai people will very know what transformation this app has brought in their life and how thankful are they for this app.

The learning from this session was, the IT industry today, is ever expanding industry and a hard and smart worker here can reach sustainable heights very fast.

The next session rather the episode which students of the BRIMS witnessed was on the Entertainment industry. The guest chair was honoured by three well-known persons of Marathi Entertainment industry. First being Mr Prasad Machindra Kamble, son of the late legend Marathi actor Mr Machindra Kamble. Even though being a Computer Engineer, Mr Prasad Kamble runs a production house named, “Bhadrakali.” And this production house has made more than 50 successful plays. And the other two guests were include famous couple Pramod Prabhulkar and Madhurani Prabhulkar. They shared their experience about how did they set up their acting academy “Miracles Academy”, against all odds.

Bottom line of both the shows was, to be a successful businessman you have to take chances and back yourself and most importantly no matter however the tough situations become, just never give up and keep working.
