XAT Result 2020 – Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will announce the result of XAT 2020. According to the XAT important dates 2020, the result will be declared on January 31, 2020. Score card of XAT will be published online. Link to check the XAT 2020 result will be provided on this page for the convenience of the candidates. To check the result, candidates will be required to enter their login credentials i.e. XAT ID and date of birth of the candidate. XAT will send the official result cum score card of XAT to the candidates at their registered postal address. Official cut-off will also be released by XLRI. Candidates who will meet the minimum cutoff of XAT 2020 will be shortlisted for the further admission procedure of XAT exam. It will include Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). The cutoff of all the XAT Participating Institutes will vary from each other.

XAT 2020 is will be conducted on January 7. The application process of XAT has already been started from August 16 and will be continued till November 24. This year, XAT will be held in the online mode for the first time.

How to check the XAT result 2020?

Here is the procedure to check the result of XAT 2020:

• Visit the official website or click on the link which will be provided on this page as soon as result will be published.
• Candidates will be directed to the login page.
• Enter your login credential here – XAT ID and date of birth date and a security text and submit it.
• Now, an option to download the result the and score card of XAT 2020 will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the scorecard by clicking on that link and save it
• Print the score card and keep it safe for future reference till the completion of XAT admission procedure.

NOTE- Apart from the online result, XLRI will send the score card to the test takers on their registered postal address.

How will XAT 2020 result be computed?

As per the marking scheme of XAT 2020, each question will carry one mark and for each wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates can leave at least 12 questions unattempted. If any candidate will leave more than 12 questions, negative marking of 0.05 marks will be done. However, the scores of General knowledge and Essay writing will not be calculated in the total percentile, it is mandatory to attempt both the sections to be eligible for the exam.

What After XAT 2020 Result?

• Candidates meeting the XAT 2020 cut-off will be shortlisted for the GD/PI rounds. They will have to select the city where they want to give the interview.
• Candidates will be required to book the interview slots and upload self-profile assessment and video.
• On the basis of XAT 2020 result and cutoff scores, candidates will be able to apply for other XAT participating institutes.
• As the cutoff and selection procedure of colleges may differ from each other, candidates are advised to visit the official websites of each institute to know the selection procedure.
• There is no common XAT selection procedure conducted for the admission through XAT exam in these colleges.
• Once the result of XAT 2020 will be declared, candidates can apply for the admission to various institutes of XLRI.
• Candidates will need to visit the official website of the institutes and follow the application procedure.

XAT Selection Procedure

After the announcement of XAT Result 2020, candidates will be called for further admission procedures. There will be three rounds including group discussion, personal interview and essay writing or writing ability test. Candidates must check the selection criteria and procedures of all the institutes they are applying for as it may vary from each other.

XAT Cutoff 2020

XAT cutoff will be the minimum scores required to be shortlisted for further rounds of admission i.e.GD/PI. All the XAT participating institutes will publish their cutoff scores along with the XAT result. XLRI will announce the separate cutoff for HRM (Human Resources Management), BM (Business Management), GMP courses. Candidates can check the last year’s cutoff from the table given below:
