NEET 2020 Admit Card – The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET as it is popularly known is a one-stop medical examination for undergraduates who wish to pursue a career in medicine. Aspirants can seek admission in MBBS and BDS courses offered by a plethora of medical and dental colleges across the country. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the conducting body for NEET every year.

NEET 2020 Admit Card will be available tentatively in the month of April 2020 to candidates who have successfully submitted the NEET application form. Candidates must not that NEET registration will be done online, on the official website of CBSE NEET. Similarly, the NEET Admit Card will also be made available online. Under no circumstances will the NEET Admit Card be sent via post of on the registered email ID. However, once the candidate logs in and downloads the NEET Admit Card, a copy of the same in the PDF format will be sent on his/her registered email ID.

After logging in on the website to download the NEET 2020 Admit Card, candidates must go through the details mentioned very carefully. In case of any discrepancies, the candidate must contact the CBSE office as soon as possible so that the necessary amendments can be made. After checking the details, candidates must download the NEET Admit Card and preserve it for exam day. The NEET 2020 exam is expected to be held in the month of May 2020.

NEET 2020 Admit Card: Steps to Download

The NEET 2020 Admit Card will be available for download in the month of April 2020. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to successfully download the NEET Admit Card.

  • Log on to the official website of CBSE NEET (http://cbseneet.nic.in)
  • Under the Online Services section, click on ‘Admit Card’
  • Fill the required details such as Registration Number, Date of Birth, Security Pin and click on submit
  • The NEET Admit Card will appear on the screen
  • Go through the details mentioned in the Admit Card and check for any discrepancy
  • Take a print out of the NEET admission card and preserve it for future

NEET 2020 Admit Card: Photograph, Proforma and Other Details

After taking the printout of the NEET 2020 Admit Card, candidates will have to paste a passport size photograph on the Admit Card in the space provided. Along with the NEET Admit Card, candidates will also get a proforma. This proforma must be filled and carried by the candidate on the day of the examination. The Proforma will contain a space to paste a postcard size photograph of the candidate. The photograph should be 4x6 in size and must contain the name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph underneath it.

The following are the most important NEET documents that the candidate must carry on the exam day failing which they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall:

  • NEET 2020 Admit Card with the passport size photograph
  • NEET 2020 Proforma with the postcard size photograph
  • A passport size photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet

General Instructions

In case a student does not have access to the internet, the NEET 2020 Admit Card can be obtained at the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC). Candidates have to pay INR 10 for the print out of the Admit Card of NEET 2020.

NEET 2020 Admit Card: Things to Keep in Mind

The NEET 2020 Admit Card is THE most important document to be presented on the NEET exam day. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

  • CBSE will release the Admit Card for NEET 2020 on its official website and a copy will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID once s/he has downloaded the admit card.
  • Candidates who turn up at the examination centre without the NEET 2020 Admit Card, Proforma and a passport size photograph will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • The NEET 2020 Admit Card is an important document and must be preserved until all the admission formalities are over.

NEET 2020 Result

The NEET 2020 Admit Card will be released in the month of April 2020 followed by the exam which will be held in May 2020. The NEET Result is expected to be announced in the month of June 2020. Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying percentile will be able to see the NEET result on the official website of CBSE NEET. NEET 2020 Admit Card will consist of the examination centre address as per the city that was chosen by the candidate. It is advised that the candidates should visit the exam centre two to three days prior to the exam so that they don’t face any issues in finding the NEET exam centre on the exam day.
