MU OET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

MU OET 2020 is a university-level online entrance examination conducted by Manipal University every year for admission to various UG and PG courses. This examination is conducted at 50 centres across India.

The official dates for the exam are yet to be released but it will be conducted tentatively in April and May 2020.

 

MU OET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

Course of study

Educational Qualification

BBA (Financial Markets, e-Banking & Finance Professional, Logistics & Supply Chain, HR, Marketing and Hospitality and Tourism)

Should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery

Should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and English as subjects with a minimum of 50% in Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Biotechnology.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery

Should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English.

Bachelor of Pharmacy

Should have passed 10+2 level with Chemistry, Physics and English as main subjects and Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology as optional subjects.
Candidates from National Open School do not qualify for admission under the Pharmacy Act.

PharmD

Should have passed 10+2 level with Chemistry, Physics and English as main subjects and Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects / DPharm or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Candidates from National Open School do not qualify for admission under the Pharmacy Act

BA Media & Communication

Should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent and a minimum aggregate of 45%. Arts group subjects are preferred.

BTech- Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering,  Computer & Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Industrial & Production Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, and Printing Technology.

Should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

NOTE: Official notification about MU OET 2020 is yet to be released by Manipal University. Above information is tentative and subject to change.
