MAT Eligibility Criteria 2020

MAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 – Eligibility criteria for MAT 2020 is set by AIMA. Candidate fulfilling the MAT 2020 eligibility criteria 2020 can appear in MAT December 2020. Candidates who have the bachelor’s degree or any equivalent degree can apply for MAT exam 2020. Before applying for MAT 2020, the candidate must check whether he is fulfilling the MAT eligibility norms in order to avoid rejection. Apart from that, candidates must check the eligibility criteria of each MAT participating institute.

Management Aptitude Test is one of the most sought-after competitive examinations in India for securing admission to business schools in India and abroad. MAT exam is conducted by AIMA or All India Management Association or as per the guidance of the Government of India. It is conducted every year in February, May, September and December. It is a national level examination for students seeking an admission to MBA (Master of Business Administration), PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) and related courses. MAT September 2020 exam has already conducted on 3rd and 9th September 2020. Also, the MAT September result has been announced. The link to check the result has been provided below on this page. Since the result of September exam is out, Registration for MAT December exam is expected to begin either from the last week of September or First week of October. As MAT December 2020 will be held in Offline and online mode, the last date of MAT registration 2020 for offline mode is expected to be November 23 and for online mode will be December 26. MAT 2020 exam will be conducted on December 3 and 9 in offline and online mode respectively.

MAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 - 

According to AIMA, following are the eligibility norms for MAT 2020:

  • Candidate should be a graduate or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized university
  • Candidates in their final year of graduate courses in any discipline can appear for the exam provisionally
  • There is no age limit for MAT 2020
  • There is no limitation on the number of attempts for MAT Examination
  • Work experience is not mandatory
  • Most universities or institutions have minimum percentage criteria. Therefore, candidates can check the details about the same on individual web pages of institutions/universities on Campuswalkin.com.

Candidates, who suffice the eligibility criteria for MAT 2020 as mentioned, may register themselves for the upcoming MAT examination in December 2020.  The application form fee will be INR 1,400 and can be paid online through debit cards/ credit cards/ net banking as or by sending a demand draft of the application fee to AIMA, New Delhi.

MAT December 2020 is will be held on December 3, 2020 for paper-based test and December 9, 2020 onwards for the computer-based test in different time slots. The examination will be of 150 minutes and will consist of 200 questions, each carrying 1 mark.

Applicants will need to download their admit card from the official website of AIMA before the date of examination. Admit Cards will be made available on the website on or after December 1, 2020.
