Institute of Banking Personnel Selection- Common Recruitment Process (IBPS-CRP)

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, which is popularly known as IBPS is an organization which provides services to its clients in the area of personnel selection, recruitment and assessment. Since all examinations are conducted through online mode, the job is assigned to a channel partner which is a prominent IT company of the country. IBPS is now capable of conducting examinations for a large number of candidates simultaneously at 200 cities and several venues across the country.

IBPS is conducting a Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of Specialist Officers. The IBPS SO exam 2015 will be conducted in the month of February.

The admit cards for the aspirants who have successfully registered for the same have been released and can be downloaded from the IBPS official website.  Admit cards can be downloaded using the registration number, date of birth or password.

  • IT Officer (Scale-I)
  • Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)
  • Law Officer (Scale I)
  • HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale I)
  • Marketing Officer (Scale I)

Paper pattern of the Online CWE:

  • For Law Officer-Scale I and Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I:
  • The exam will be conducted for 120 minutes and will include the following sections.
  • Reasoning- 50 marks
  • English Language- 25 marks
  • General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry-50 marks
  • Professional Knowledge-75 marks
  • Total- 200 marks   

IT Officer Scale I, Agricultural Field Officer Scale I, HR/ Personnel Officer Scale I &Marketing Officer Scale I:

The exam will be conducted for 120 minutes and will include the following sections.

  • Reasoning- 50 marks
  • English Language- 25 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude-50 marks
  • Professional Knowledge-75 marks
  • Total- 200 marks

All the tests except the test of English language will be available bilingually.

 

Penalty for wrong Answers:

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

 

Interview Round:

Candidates who will be shortlisted in the online examination of CRPSPL-IV will be called for interview. The total marks allotted for interview will be 100.
The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20.

 

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are required to appear for the common online entrance exam. Those who appear and shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently called for a common interview to be conducted by the participating organizations and Co-ordinated by the Nodal bank with the help of IBPS.
Shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating organization depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2015-16.

All those awaiting bank jobs in 2015, IBPS has released a tentative Common Written Examination (CWE) timetable for 2015. A candidate has to appear for a written exam and interview only once, making him eligible for jobs in any of the 20 public sector banks across India.

  1. Regional Rural Banks (RRB) - Office Assistant & Officers – September 2015
  2. PO/MT (Officer) – October 2015 (Prelims and Mains)
  3. Clerk – December 2015 (Prelims) January 2020 (Main)
  4. Specialist Officer (SO) – January 2020
