To become a primary school teacher one needs to have a bachelors degree in education (B.Ed) with at least 55% marks. You can also have a degree in Home Science. A B.Ed can be followed up with an M.Ed. A diploma in education (DEd) and teacher training certificate (TTC) are some other courses that might help you get a job.

• Should go beyond the syllabus and try to not curb children’s creativity
• Should be willing and eager to keep learning
• Have excellent communication skills
• Should have creative and innovative ideas to keep the children involved
